Alexcina Brown
Entrepreneur, published model, actress, author/blogger, and former editor-in-chief....Alexcina Brown loves to wear many hats. According to her, she defines her title as, "I'm a creator..."
The Macon, GA native attended Savannah State University earning a BBA in Marketing along with becoming a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Continuing her studies, Alexcina earned an MBA in Entertainment Management from American InterContinental University.
Alexcina started her journey in modeling in Atlanta, GA, participating in various runway shows and fashion presentations. She's graced the pages of print/digital publications for fashion, lifestyle, health & beauty editorials.
In the acting world, Alexcina started out as a background actor, gaining experience on major TV and Film productions in Atlanta, GA. Since then, she has appeared in supporting and lead roles in various web series, mini-series, indie films, and theater productions. Upon relocating to New York City, Alexcina made her New York stage debut at the NY SummerFest 2018 as Winsome in Precious Metals: Beauty in Brokenness (GoodLight Productions). Her recent works include a supporting role in the comedy short, Hustle (Just SISU Films), and the indie thriller, BLACKOUT (Paradox Film Co.), as Detective Ann Jackson.
In addition to modeling and acting, Alexcina Brown recently became a self-published author under the moniker The Blakk Dahlia. Since 2018, she has released four books from the new romance/suspense series, the Heartbreak Diaries.
In business, she has worked behind the scenes providing digital marketing, writing, and consulting services for various brands within independent sectors of music, fashion, & entertainment. While creating her own ventures, she built an extensive corporate resume as a writer and Web Producer. In 2016, she established BRASH! Magazine (digital media platform for new and established Indie Music Artists), in which she ran and served as Editor-in-Chief for four years. Prior to the digital media venture, Alexcina created Fearless Vision Marketing which provided digital marketing services to new and aspiring businesses/brands. In working with smaller brands, she's shared her expertise to help new and established entrepreneurs to get a jump start in developing marketing strategies for their businesses.
Currently, Alexcina is solely working on building her personal brand as a print model, actress, and author.
